Great Hungarian Plain | Planetary Landscapes
Credit: Kaszás Gergő
The Great Hungarian Plain on May 27, 2017. The panorama consists of 42 photos stitched together. It was captured after a stormy summer cold front, on a beautiful clear day. The yellow light on the horizon is not light pollution…but the first rays of a rising sun. The photos were taken after astronomical dark, which explains the nascent blue sky…Because it rarely can be avoided these days, the glow on the right side of the picture is actually light pollution from a village 15-20 km away. I hope you will enjoy this photo!
