Western Digital has introduced under the brand G-Technology portable solid state (SSD) drive, G-Drive Mobile SSD R-Series, made in high-strength housing.
The novelty meets the standard IP67, which means protection from water and dust. It is alleged that the device can withstand a fall from three-meter height on carpeted floors over concrete.
