The World at Night photography
Resembled a scene of science fiction. It filled me with an unusual sense, a blend of now and far future, a mix of here and outerspace. Planes were flying from Keflavik airport in Iceland, two nights ago, under the dancing aurora some 100km above us, on the edge of space. This piece of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, by master violinist Takako Nishizaki, shares the same unique sense.
On another matter for a country of only 320,000 people, Keflavik Airport is very active, thanks to over 2 million tourist visiting Iceland per year, mostly from US, UK, Germany, France, Canada, China.
