One of the finest examples of a Neolithic Long Barrow around, this site is both atmospheric and beautiful. The interior features a series of chambers but the exterior is equally as fascinating in that it maintains a clear distinct form and the entrance is detailed with an ammonite cast. Interior stones seem also to have been selected for possession of shell fossils. Located high on the side of a sweeping valley, the barrow occupies a key position in the landscape.
