Pant-y-Saer Burial Chamber, Benllech, Anglesey, North Wales, 17.3.18.

I’ve only visited this site once or twice before as it’s quite a muddy trek. Today, the stones were more visible as the vegetation had receded over Winter. It is similar to the burial chambers on the opposite side of the island of Anglesey. Perhaps its most impressive feature is the huge capstone which has collapsed. Some of the remaining orthostats that kept it upright have been removed and it is clear that at some point it has been excavated. At least one of the stones is covered in ivy.
