The Meehambee Dolmen is a portal tomb dating back to 3500 BC located in Ireland. It was found by two children in the 1960s who, on the same day, also found 2 stone axes. Originally over 2 meters high, the portal stone supporting the back end of the dolmen collapsed, causing the capstone to slide out of position. As with many of the other Irish dolmen, this one is thought to be the burial site of a prominent tribe member from the Neolithic era.
