Good news for the underwater archeology: the Institute for Conservation and Restoration is about to usher in a season full of projects focused on the protection, enhancement and networking of the underwater heritage of Campania, Calabria and Puglia (MUSAS project), and it has initiated comparative selections for the awarding of ten assignments of collaboration.
The projects, financed by the National Development Plan (NDP) “Culture and Development” ERDF 2014- 2020 will allow to capitalize on years of research and experiments on materials, conducted in submerged sites and half-submerged central and southern Italy, and will be a ‘unique opportunity for the development of sites like Bay, Egnatia and Kaulonia, characterized by an incredible wealth of exceptionally preserved ancient remains.
On the sidelines began also in market research to know the expressions of interest from companies for the award of a rental service of boats and assistance to divers in submerged sites being discussed.
