A small crop circle with an interesting, if somewhat confused, lay is reported on the well known location for crop circles over the years on Etchilhampton Hill near Devizes, Wiltshire, UK. Reported on the 9th of August, 2016. You can see the ghosts of 2 of last years crop circles.

This very pretty formation is close to where the large formation of 2015 was placed. This formation is not as large as the one last year but measures approximately 160-180ft in diameter. At it’s most basic this is a classic ringed circle, but it’s beauty lies in the fantastic floor lay inside the centre circle. Amongst the weaving and myriad of swirls is a unicursal hexagram  – unicursal meaning in a continuous line. We have seen this kind of hexagram at least once before at the end of 2014 at Ackling Dyke in Dorset. In the unicursal hexagram the lines are not equal, nor are its points equidistant, but it will still fit inside a circle with all six points touching the perimeter. There is a particularly fine standing ring of crop at the centre of this formation which centres the entire pattern in the laid crop.
