NASA began operations October 1st, 1958. A decade later on Christmas Eve they were orbiting the Moon and sending back the first images of Earth rising above the lunar surface. Within 6 months Neil Armstrong was walking on the Moon, on live television. It was the summer of 1969 and the world came to a sudden stop as humanity collectively witnessed one of the greatest and most watched achievements in human history. Do you remember? Were you there?
