The intent of this video is to document the relative infrared (specifically 915nm) response characteristics of three image intensifier technologies. This video is NOT meant to address nor compare all performance characteristics of the represented tube technologies, it is ONLY intended to document their relative response to 915nm, the emission spectra of the Pulsar L-915 Class 1 (eye safe) laser illuminator. The image intensifiers used for this purpose are a Photonis INTENS, L3 Unfilmed and an ITT t-filmed image intensifier.
