What is this mysterious red light streaking through the night sky over Dunedin, New Zealand on July 18, 2016?
This is the re-entry of the upper stage from the Russian Soyuz rocket that launched Progress MS-03 towards the International Space Station on July 16.
For a meteor the disintegration path is too long.
