Two Roman graves GI-40 and GI-39, made of rectangular bricks, 4th century AD, excavated at necropolis in Mala Kopašnica village, near Leskovac, south-eastern Serbia.

At the sites of Kamenitica and Carski Drum in Mala Kopašnica large part of a Roman cemetery (2nd-4th century AD) was unearthed during rescue archaeological excavations on the route of the highway Е75 along Corridor 10.
The remains of the cemetery were discovered allover the area endangered by construction activities related to the new highway, in the length of about 300 m and an average width of 25 m. During the excavations, a total of 488 graves were discovered, 441 of them with cremated and 47 with buried remains.
Archaeologists have found numerous valuable and interesting objects in those graves, including golden jewelry, pottery, glass objects, weapons, pieces of clothes and shoes and other objects for everyday use.

Dva rimska groba GI-39 i GI-40 napravljena od pravougaonih opeka, 4. vek nove ere, otkrivena u nekropoli u selu Mala Kopašnica kod Leskovca, jugoistočna Srbija.
Tokom zaštitnih arheoloških iskopavanja na Koridoru 10, auto-putu E75, na lokalitetima Kamenitica i Carski drum u Maloj Kopašnici, istražen je veliki deo nekropole iz rimskog perioda (II–IV vek nove ere).
Ostaci nekropole potvrđeni su na čitavom prostoru ugroženom izgradnjom nove trase auto-puta, u dužini od približno 300 m i prosečnoj širini oko 25 m. Tokom ovih kampanja istraženo je ukupno 488 grobova, i to 441 grob s ostacima spaljenih pokojnika i 47 sa skeletno sahranjenim individuama.
Arheolozi su u tim grobovima pronašli brojne vredne i zanimljive predmete, poput zlatnog nakita, predmeta od stakla, oružja, delova odeće i obuće, i drugih predmeta za svakodnevnu upotrebu
