Cors y Gedol Prehistoric Enclosed Settlement, nr. Ardudwy, North Wales, 28.8.18.

It’s very difficult to get a sense of the size of the settlement from the photos and the ground. The settlement is not too dissimilar to Grimspound on Dartmoor but there are linked enclosures and additional walls here and the roundhouse foundations are less obvious. There are literally stones all over the fields. From the number of smaller stones visible, it’s likely more modern stone wall clearances distort the original prehistoric footprint.
