Birkrigg or Sunbrick Stone Circle, nr. Ulverston. Cumbria, 31.7.18.

A large double concentric series of stone circles which may have been restored and re-positioned over time. Its commanding view over the estuary and Birkrigg Common means that it remains perennially a popular historic site. Although I have photographed this location before, it was unusual to see the site in sunny conditions for once!
