The Grey Cairns of Camster, The Highlands, Scotland, 18.8.18.
A showpiece of prehistoric ritual burial, this long barrow and round barrow complex features multiple chambers. Crawling through the narrow passages to the larger central spaces takes you back over two thousand years. I was lucky enough to arrive early and to enjoy the monuments to myself. It was eerily beautiful.
